Remote Indexing Assistant (RIA)

What is RIA?

EzeScan’s Remote Indexing Assistant (RIA) is a powerful component of the EzeScan WebApp suite, purpose-built to streamline the ingestion and registration of documents into your back end systems (e.g. EDRMS, EDMS, Finance)

RIA can be configured to allow users to ‘drag and drop’ their documents into a RIA queue, upload documents into a RIA queue, or configure the RIA queue to automatically import documents from a network file share or email server.

Once the document is in the queue there are pre-processors that help to clean up the document, remove blank pages, split documents, followed by some method of data extraction using OCR/ICR or AI. Once extracted the data can be verified for correctness, or simply pushed to another system if the data accuracy is determined to be okay.
