Fields (RIA)

Purpose

The Fields tab within an RIA Page allows administrators to configure metadata fields that are used to capture information from documents.

Supported Field Types

Field Type

Description

Custom

All purpose field for capturing user input using controls such as text boxes, text areas, radio buttons, and drop-down lists.

Numeric

Input only Numeric values

Date

Select or enter a date from a date picker.

Database Lookup

Perform lookups of external databases and return values.

Integration Find

Browse a connected Integration that supports Searching or Browsing.

Integration Lookup

Browse a connected Integration that supports Searching or Browsing and return a value.

Grid

Grid fields allow you to have rows of other field types.

Lookup Grid

Displays row-level data retrieved from an external system in a grid format.

Barcode Scan

Scan a barcode and automatically populate the field with the scanned value.

Classification Info

Displays classification information from DCA

External API

API specific fields that change their display on support options.

Html

Renders custom HTML content and elements within a form or page.

ID Counter

Automatically generates a unique incrementing identifier

Allows users to upload

Likert

The Likert field is used to allow users to answer multiple questions that all have the same answer set.

Percentage

Displays and formats numeric values as percentages.

Rating

Provides star-based a rating scale

Signature

Captures a user's handwritten signature directly on the screen.

Time

Allows users to enter or select a time value.

User Info

Displays information about a user within the system.

Viewer Selector

Allows zones or regions to be defined on an image.
