148. Microsoft Office 365 IMAP/POP no longer supporting Basic Auth

Microsoft has announced that:

IMPORTANT: Sometime in second and third quarters of 2022 we will selectively pick tenants and disable Basic Auth for all affected protocols except SMTP AUTH for a period of 12-48 hours. After this time, Basic Auth for these protocols will be re-enabled, if the tenant admin has not already re-enabled them using our self-service tools.

If Microsoft disables Basic Auth on your tenant then EzeScan DESKTOP will display the following error message:

In order to resolve this issue your EzeScan DESKTOP / Routing job must be reconfigured to use our new Microsoft Office365 Outlook connector.

It is recommended to use version 5.x of EzeScan DESKTOP when using the Microsoft Office365 Outlook connector.
