This is most likely because you have unticked the "Use ADF" option on the Admin Jobs → Scan tab which sets the "Pages To Scan" value to 1 page at a time.
Make sure the "Use ADF" option is ticked.
It is also important to make sure that the "Pages To Scan" value is set to a value greater than 1.
